Staggered Vintage Suitcases

In my last posting, I stated that I wanted to sell the vintage dress form mannequin....Sold!

And this is what I put in it's place....a huge stack of staggered vintage suitcases! I loved this look of staggering them, instead of being in a straight as a board stack! Saw the idea on Pinterest! For now this is what I love for this corner! Noticed I said *For Now* You just never know what I will be changing next!
I brought in my *Made in Paris* dress form....That I absolutely love with the suitcases!
And here is a full room view, well almost...I am loving the darker colors more for this room!

Favorite Weekend Finds!!

Just a little post......thought I would share with you my favorite weekend finds......a sweet tin heart made of ceiling tin with attached glass prism.....i just love the glimmering effect....pretty!An awesome antique loving cup, from one of my frequently shopped dealers at the Scott's Antique Show in Atlanta.....Hubby says I have enough trophy's....yeah right!

I have saved the best for last.....I just LOVE this french side table....Isn't it gorgeous??

I would so love to have an entire bedroom suite to match! Well, Maybe just another side table, and a dresser with mirror!! I could always paint my bed to match!! I am already thinking of ways to rearrange!! LOl ....Hope you all are enjoying your day!

Update On My Bath-Room Makeover!!

SURE HOPE YOU ALL HAVE TIME FOR THIS ONE...BECAUSE THERE ARE LOTS OF PICTURES!! I LOVE BLOGS WITH LOTS OF PICTURES!! HOPEFULLY THIS WILL INSPIRE SOME OF YOU....HAVE YOU JOINED PINTEREST YET?? MY MASTER BATH...MORE LIKE A ROOM, IT IS A ROOM I ALSO LIKE TO DECORATE....VINTAGE MIRRORS, OLD CLOCKS, ANTIQUE TROPHY'S, ETC.
A MANTEL MIRROR HOLDS SOME OF MY VINTAGE TROPHY'S...A FRIEND ONCE ASKED ME WHY I LIKE THEM SO MUCH...WELL, THEIR COLOR, SHAPE, STYLE, PATINA, HISTORY BEHIND THEM!! THEY HAVE EVERYTHING WE LOOK FOR IN ANTIQUES! I ALSO LOVE VINTAGE RHINESTONE PINS, BUTTONS, OLD SHAVING MIRRORS.....
A RECENT FIND IS THIS VERY OLD PHARMACY CERTIFICATE....I JUST LOVE IT!! IT IS HANGING ABOVE AN OLD DOOR HEADER THAT HUBBY ADDED VINTAGE DOOR KNOBS TO, FOR HANGING MY VINTAGE CROCHET TOPS & PURSES....

I WONDERED IF THIS LOOKS TOO CROWDED ALL HANGING TOGETHER?? I WAS THINKING OF TAKING SOME OF IT AWAY.... I KINDA LIKE THIS GROUPING... IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!

Guest Bedroom Makeover~ RL & Burlap

Today I thought I would share a bedroom makeover I did this week....Using what I already have....Just bought a new Ralph Lauren comforter set from T.J Maxx...I thought this particular set would look great with my burlap pillow slips...Some recent finds...vintage beaded light bulb covers...these are very hard to find! I found them at an estate sale for only 5.00 each! Right now they are nesting in this 3 tier wire display with other vintage treasures until I find some pretty lamps to use them on!
