IRONSTONE COLLECTION

THE WEATHER HERE IN GEORGIA HAS BEEN ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!
IT IS SO NICE TO OPEN UP THE WINDOWS AND BREATHE IN THE FRESH AIR!
I LOVE HOW THE SUN IS SHINING THROUGH THE WINDOWS AND MAKES EVERYTHING LOOK SO MUCH PRETTIER!!

I THOUGHT SINCE IT WAS SUCH A BRIGHT SUNNY DAY...THAT I WOULD SHARE WITH YOU ALL PICTURES MY DINING ROOM AND IRONSTONE COLLECTION!

I DON'T THINK I COULD ADD ANYMORE TO THIS COLLECTION WITHOUT IT LOOKING TOO CROWDED, DON'T YOU AGREE??
I LOVE HOW A TOUCH OF BLACK HERE AND THERE ADDS JUST A LITTLE MORE OF A CLASSIC ELEGANT LOOK....A LITTLE CONTRAST BETWEEN ALL THE WHITE...

JUST A FEW PIECES OF FRENCH ENAMELWARE IN MY DINING ROOM....I KEEP MOST OF MY ENAMELWARE IN MY KITCHEN...SINCE IT IS MORE KITCHEN RELATED...

A SMALLER WALL CABINET WITH SOME OF MY LITTLE IRONSTONE CREAMERS, ETC...

A FEW OF MY FAVORITE BROWN AND WHITE TRANSFER WARE PIECES, A LARGE PITCHER, AND TWO LITTLE COFFEE & CAKE PLATES....I LOVE THE POPCORN TREE I FOUND AT AN ESTATE SALE, DISPLAYED IN THE PITCHER, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND MORE....I HOPE YOU ALL ARE ENJOYING YOUR DAY!!!

BEDROOM MAKEOVER WITH A LITTLE BURLAP & RUST

A corner cabinet filled with tarnished silver, early 1900's ladies
shoes, black and white cabinet photos, vintage jewelry, and old cameras
sits in the corner of the guest room....that's if we should ever have guests,
you all are more than welcome for a visit!

I had the pleasure of setting up with my friend Carol for
an antique show last month. It is a lot of hard work with loading
and unloading....but the fun part is buying and swapping with the
other dealers, that's where I found these fabulous vintage shoes,
I traded with another dealer and got three different pair!! Love
them! Now I have shoes for displaying my vintage rhinestone shoe clips!!

I love this rusty wire basket that I acquired for all my hard work
helping my friend Carol with the antique show last month! It sits
with my antique dress form with another rusty plant stand with
tea-stained roses!

One corner of this room with creamy beige furniture, except
for the oak dresser that I wish hubby would get rid of!! How is
it that a man would care so much about a piece of furniture?
It will be sold, if I have anything to say about it!! I am trying
to make the best of it for now.
And the best for last, I just love these burlap pillow slips
I found on Etsy. The next thing I would change out would be the bark cloth curtains, maybe some burlap or tea-stained crocheted panels....we'll see. For now, I hope
you enjoyed this little makeover, and gives someone
some inspiration for their next makeover. Hope you
all have a wonderful week!!
