Friday Morning, hubby and I decided it would fun to take a little road trip,
so we drove to Moultrie, Ga for a car show/flea market that he wanted to
check out, Then we were on our way to all the antique/junk stores that we
could find! The best stop we made was to "Alice and Jayne" in Sasser,Ga
A fun and whimsical shabby shoppe with loads of charm!
All decked out for the holidays, Shabby Vintage Style!
In the store window is the most fabulous architectural tree!
For more pictures of this fab tree and other store pictures
They have two shoppes side by side with a garden area as well.
Garden chairs, concrete birdbaths, handmade signs, etc..
When you first enter the store you will be taken away with
all the fabulous architectural finds, old windows, handmade lamps,
painted furniture, all vintage & shabby style!!
The first thing you will see upon entering, is this awesome tree covered in
twinkle lights! So beautiful and inviting! Who doesn't love these vintage
silver aluminum christmas trees! They really are fun to decorate, especially
in graduating sizes as pictured below!
Handmade signs are always a favorite! These two were my favorite!
Great colors and worn chippy paint, it doesn't get any better!

Let me introduce you to Faye and her sidekick Tater Tot
Both are super friendly and ready to greet you!

An overall view of one corner of this wonderful shoppe!
Lots of chandeliers, architectural finds, handmade christmas trees,
Handmade column lamps and lots of other handcrafted treasures!
Handmade christmas trees made with found objects, vintage
blown-glass christmas ornaments, and other whimsical finds!

Vintage Finds!

Just a quick post, I thought I would share
a few vintage finds with you today...I just love
this vintage porcelain statue with pedestal
a wonderful find for 20.00!
The vintage white corner shelf was a steal
for 5.00, it was painted a dark green
but I knew it would look great.. once I painted
it white! I love the little scalloped edging at
the top...don't you?

It just makes the perfect display shelf for some
of my white McCoy pottery, vintage hats, and hatpins!
Just a few more finds....Love this old glass battery jar found for
just 3.00! I knew it would be perfect for displaying the lot of
vintage hand mirrors, brushes, etc.. found for only 10.00
for all! What a find! My heart skipped a beat when I found these
all at one yard sale! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Happy Junkin'
