I have been collecting vintage/antique white ironstone for just a few years now......There is just something about it that I just love, the clean lines and lovely detail on each piece...
I have a small dining room, so anything but all white, would make it feel much smaller!
A touch of whimsy with the huge ice cream sign was not what I had in store.....I just don't have anywhere else to display it, because I do love it.....
In case you haven't noticed, I love collecting vintage alarm clocks, in almost every room!
A touch of greenery stands out with all the white...and adds, to me, a welcoming look!
I've recently added a few pieces of brown transfer ware....very hard to find.....
Vintage coral, bird nest', antique silverware, and a cast iron grate add contrast as well....
To add a little separation between the white, I've added some vintage crochet pieces....
This is one of my favorite soup tureens filled with vintage coral pieces, so pleasing to the eye...
I am always downsizing my collections because you shouldn't keep it all....be sure to check me out on Ebay....My seller name is: Cottage-White
Thanks so much for stopping by.....Hope you all have a wonderful evening!!

Hi Cheryl,
Did you just step inside my brain and pull out all the things I love!!!
I love white ironstone and brown transferware. You are right it's getting harder to find and really expensive when you do.
Love you pretty cupboard. I also collect clocks. Love all the white and softness.

From one ironstone collector to another, your dining room is beautiful and you have a great collection. I know we should edit our collections from time to time. But it's soooo hard.
Thanks for sharing.
Joyfully,

Hello, What a charming blog you have created, I love your home. When you have house guest, I'll bet you have a hard time getting them to leave. . .I know I would not want to.
The Sealtest ice cream sign bought back memories. Do they still make that brand, or is it an east coast/ mid-brand? I am your newest follower, and I would like very much to invite you to visit my blog. Hopefully you will see something there to make you want to follow me too. Connie :)
